Privacy statement

Bewuste boer, part of the private limited company Hoogrendement BV, respects the rights of our customers. Equal rights for everyone are not a privilege but a fundamental principle. We accept the laws and regulations to which we are subject without reservation or comment. In keeping with this principle, fully complying with the GDPR is a further step. Above all, we handle all data made available to us or that has come to our attention relating to individuals or companies with respect.

PrinciplesPersonal data is processed by Hoogrendement BV solely in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. In every instance of data processing, we will prioritise protecting the privacy of the data subject, our legal obligations and the legitimate interest of Hoogrendement BV in carrying out our administrative duties. Personal data will not be retained for longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required under the laws and regulations applicable to Hoogrendement BV.

What data do we process? Data submitted to us via the order form is stored securely. Order forms are saved in our mailbox. The mailbox is password-protected. Invoices are created on a computer without internet access. These invoices are stored on an external server. Data is not retained for longer than necessary.

Which data do we not process? We process all data in consultation with and on behalf of the client. To this end, we record all data that is necessary or likely to be necessary. We never record data that comes to our attention but has nothing to do with the purpose of the work and the nature of the assignment. For example, we will not record any personal preferences or relationships between individuals that are unrelated to the assignment.

How do we process data?We are a small company and process data at the assignment level. We use computer and file systems. Our systems are not connected to the internet; everything is stored on our own server.

Retention periodOur computer system is cleaned up once a year. We aim to clean up our subsystems (scheduling and email messaging) after 7 years as well.

Data securityWe take measures to protect data. Physical data is stored exclusively in locked rooms and, where necessary, destroyed by Reiswolf Archiefvernietiging. We can access digital data worldwide via internally based applications, but it is protected by passwords and stored on private servers. Wherever possible, secure connections are used for data transmission.

EmailWe use our own email server, linked to domain email hosting. The emails are retained for an extended period on the external mail host (SMTP and POP service). We aim to discontinue external storage within one year of receiving the email; the message, which may contain personal data, is then stored on our own server. Our server is secure, and only we have access to the email.
